"Dina", our Portuguese Podengo Pequeno came to join our family from the Nashnall kennel at 8 weeks old and we thank Sue & Keith Pearson for allowing us to have this delightful little dog. We fell in love with the podengo breed having met Eileen Segui's very successful pod "Carlos" (Arranbourne Amoroso) on the Irish Show Circuit. Carlos re-captured the same emotion within me as the first time I had met a bearded collie only this time, I remembered to ask about the breed!
Dina is a charmer. A huge character in a small package, she charms all who meet her. A smart cookie who is quick to learn and misses nothing. She adores the beardies, especially the girls who she has also successfully charmed.
Dina, aka 'Pod', is our smile dog - a dog who is happy from the moment she wakes up to going to bed.
Pod is, without doubt, George's dog (who she also has wrapped around her paw) and we cannot imagine life without this little bundle of fun.

Dina's success at the first Podengo Breed Show
The Portuguese Podengo Club of Great Britain held it's very first Breed Show on 5th April 2008. We are delighted to announce that Dina won her class under Portuguese Podengo Breed Specialist Jose Romao from Portugal.
